Your Career Portfolio

Career portfolios can be powerful tools for job seekers as they demonstrate your skills and accomplishments. Documents to include in your portfolio are:

•  Copies of your current résumé
•  Reference letters or letters of recognition
•  Documents you have written
•  Samples of your work (if you are a writer, photographer, graphic artist, designer, etc.)

Most interviewers will not ask to see the content of your portfolio so it is up to you to respond to a question in a way that allows you to integrate samples from your portfolio. Have copies of your documents to leave with the interviewer.
