Our client, an industrial company, is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join their team.
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Must be Fluently Bilingual – No exceptions (French and English)
  • Knowledge of imperial measurements
  • Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask
  • Sense of urgency
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to professionally answer phones
  • Personable, Reliable and Professional

Assets:
  • Own vehicle (Bus Accessible)

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Matching vendor invoices with packing slip receipts (Bills with Purchase Orders)
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Handle petty cash
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Order promotional material as needed
  • Answering phones in both official languages
  • Fill in for Reception during lunch hours
  • Other office duties as assigned such as filing, data entry etc.

The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, organized and who is looking for a company to grow with. This position is not for someone who is looking for an extremely fast paced environment.
The wage for this position ranges from $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
Monday to Friday – Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm – Ottawa South
