Health Standards Organization (HSO) is looking for a Financial Analyst reporting to the Program Manager, Finance to measure performance, prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyze finance and accounting activities with a variety of departments across the enterprise. Let’s break it down. Your responsibilities include:
  • Crossing your T’s and dotting your I’s when producing reports on relevant revenues and costs;
  • Investigating and explaining variances to budget and forecasts of numerous projects;
  • Contributing to the preparation of budget guidelines;
  • Working closely with departments and business units to prepare budgets and forecasts;
  • Provide on-going and ad-hoc analyses and reports to departments and business units using advanced accounting and reporting software.

You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?
  • University degree or College diploma in Accounting, Finance or similar specialized field.
  • 4 – 5 years of professional financial experience.
  • Having an eye for details.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Have great technical chops (Microsoft 365, Dynamics GP, databases).
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll stand out if you...
  • Have industry knowledge and experience (public and/or private) in health care, in Canada or abroad.
  • Project Accounting experience, preferably using Dynamics GP or any other project accounting software.
  • Are highly organized, boundlessly energetic, detail-oriented, and analytically curious.
  • Have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data manipulation, analysis, charts, VBA experience.
  • Know your way around ERPs and other data systems including CRM 2011.
