The Accenture Mentorship Program is Underway!

On Tuesday, April 24, World Skills and Accenture welcomed the first of two cohorts of IT professionals selected to take part in the Accenture Mentorship Program.

The program is comprised of five modules to be delivered over a period of four weeks to candidates who have experience in the field of Information Technology. The aim is to prepare IT professionals to find gainful employment in Ottawa. Upon completion of the modules, selected participants will be paired with a mentor at Accenture.

World Skills is very proud to once again partner with Accenture on a venture that not only prepares newcomers for success in the job market, but propels Accenture’s commitment to inclusion and diversity. As Accenture states: “Diversity makes us stronger.”

    1. Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for connecting with us.

The current mentorship program began on April 24th and will run until the end of August. In September 2018, we will be running another one. Sometime in August, there will be an information session to share program requirements and to initiate an application process. Those selected from that process will attend the program in September.

The first step is to become a client of World Skills. You can do this via our website (https://ottawa-worldskills.org/) and request an appointment via the “Contact Us” tab.

Thanks again for connecting with us Benjamin. Please contact me if you have any questions.
