Entrepreneurial Resources
The legacy of ONE Hub: Resources, online training modules and graduate tips!
Entrepreneurship
Ottawa Newcomer Entrepreneurs Hub (ONE Hub) was formed in 2020 to help New Canadians learn about the Ottawa and Canadian market and explore how to become an entrepreneur. ONE Hub was an initiative developed by the coalition partners World Skills, OCISO, & OCLF along with the support of our community partners Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre and Vitesse Re-Skilling Canada, funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. ONE Hub ran training programs, mentoring and networking initiatives and provided support for hundreds of clients from 2020-2025. Now that the program has ended, we are pleased to provide links, a self guided entrepreneurial workshop open to all, and lessons from past clients.
Online Learning Modules
ONE Hub designed an online training program to equip you with essential skills, insights, and practical tips for launching a business in Ottawa. The 14 modules cover everything from navigating government resources to refining your business idea, managing cash flow, and developing effective marketing strategies. We are proud of what we created, and we would like to thank our facilitators and staff, as well as community support, in offering the following workshop modules.
The program is now open to the public. To register, please follow the link!
Within the workshop, you will have access to a 66 page PDF workbook that you can use to help guide your entrepreneurial journey, as well as many slide presentations with valuable information to increase your knowledge and refine your new company. Take one module, take them all – it’s your choice.
