Join us to explore what hiring managers look for during Government of Canada (GoC) interviews, and how you can effectively demonstrate your qualifications through your experience and professional behaviour.
In this session, you will:
- Learn about the core competencies required in the public service (e.g., communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, client service, integrity)
- Understand how these competencies are assessed during the hiring process
- Discover practical strategies to prepare for competency-based interviews
- Learn how to use your own work and life experiences to craft strong, relevant examples
- Gain insights into structuring your responses using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result)
