Elections Ottawa Virtual Information and Recruitment Event

June 3 @ 2:00 am 2:30 am

As residents across Ottawa prepare to vote this October for Mayor, City Councillors, and School Board Trustees, thousands of temporary election workers are needed to help deliver a voting experience that is welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all electors.

The City of Ottawa is currently recruiting more than 5,000 temporary workers for positions at voting locations across the city. Successful applicants will receive training in preparation for Advance Voting Day on October 16 and Election Day on October 26.

Join this virtual session to:

• Learn about the 2026 Ottawa Municipal Election and available employment opportunities
• Explore the various election worker roles and responsibilities
• Find out what to expect before and during voting days
• Ask questions and learn how to apply

Whether you are looking to gain valuable work experience, earn additional income, or contribute to the democratic process in your community, this session is a great opportunity to learn more.
