Empowerment Program for Racialized Newcomer Women program| Cohort 6 | Week 2

March 10, 2027 @ 9:00 am - March 11, 2027 @ 4:00 pm

The ERNW program offers a comprehensive and structured approach to supporting participants in their career development and job search journey. Designed to address both practical skill-building and meaningful professional connections, the program integrates several key components to ensure participants are well-equipped to navigate the labor market with confidence.
A central feature of the program is its expert-led workshops, which provide participants with essential knowledge and hands-on learning opportunities. These workshops cover a wide range of topics, including career empowerment, personal branding, resume development, interview techniques, networking strategies, and understanding labor market dynamics. The goal is to build both competence and confidence in job seekers by equipping them with relevant, up-to-date tools and insights.
In addition to group learning, the program offers personalized counselling, ensuring that each participant receives tailored support aligned with their individual career goals. Through one-on-one coaching, participants receive guidance on resume writing, job application strategies, interview preparation, and securing endorsements. This individualized approach helps address specific barriers and strengthens each participant’s overall employability.
The ERNW program also emphasizes the importance of employer connections. Participants are given opportunities to engage directly with employers through targeted recruitment events, networking sessions, and coaching initiatives. These interactions are designed to foster meaningful relationships, increase visibility in the job market, and create pathways to employment opportunities.
Finally, the program includes a mentorship component, connecting participants with experienced professionals in their field of interest. Mentors provide ongoing guidance, share industry insights, and support participants in both job performance and long-term career advancement. This relationship helps bridge the gap between job readiness and career growth.
Overall, the ERNW program delivers a holistic and participant-centered experience that combines skill development, individualized support, employer engagement, and mentorship to effectively support successful workforce integration and career progression.

The ERNW Program offers a series of interactive workshops every 6 weeks, each lasting 7 days (from 9 AM to 4 PM). These workshops provide personalized interventions, expert coaching, practical skill-building, and valuable insights to support your career journey.
