World Skills Summer Event. Team building at its best.

Team building is defined as:

The action or process of causing a group of people to work together effectively as a team, especially by means of activities and events designed to increase motivation and promote cooperation. (Taken from a Google search).

And this is exactly what happened last Friday July 14, 2017!

World Skills celebrated a summer event where most staff members participated and many brought family members which included parents, siblings, spouses, kids and even a puppy! It was a great celebration where camaraderie and fun were the main course.

Weather was not exactly perfect but everything else was: barbecuing under the rain, kids playing and swimming, cherry-picking, Lebanese salad preparation, cake eating, picture taking, garden touring… You name it!

This event was about getting together to celebrate diversity, delicious cuisine and friendship; but most of all, it was a celebration of World Skills’ success in building a cohesive team, people who enjoy working together and doing their best to provide excellent service to our clients and partners in general.

This type of activity has become a tradition and this is the fourth time the summer event is held at a staff’s house which makes it even more amazing!

Thank you very much to the Social Committee at World Skills for organizing the event, we hope to continue having more activities like this that strengthen our team spirit and our human connection outside the office.
