Hundreds Flood Hiring Fair at Ottawa Conference and Event Centre

World Skills Employment Centre held a job fair with over 200 clients in attendance.

There was a lineup at the registration desk where services were offered in English, French and Arabic.  The turnout was fantastic and exceeded our expectations.

At one point, the floor was so full, people had to squeeze past one another to get from booth to booth. It was a good problem for employers to have.

The event also offered free parking as well which was appreciated by both employers and job seekers.

  1. Congratulations, You World Skills folks are amazing, my daughter now has a garden plot at Mike Harvest Garden, so far doing well, it is too much work but good exposure to other communities out there. Mike has no idea of my connections with World Skills Employment Centre. I am glad he was one of your employer partners at the job fair. One never knows what I say could lead to, I have to be careful while digging that soil and laughing with other gardeners. Keep up the good work.
